Default air condition 1992 corvette
1992 Corvette Crank up and turn AC on works blows fairly cold air. Drive for 20 minutes and com0pressor cuts off. Turn thermostat up to heat back to cool Compressor not coming on.
Turn car off, restart and compressor comes on blows cold air. Why does the compressor go off after a while??? Thx Harry

It's likely low on freon, but you should post in the C4 section.

If it is low on Freon, you are going to have to use R12, which isn't sold commercially. Unless your car has been converted to R134a that is.
