Default Hesitation at WOT

I have a 94 auto 116k Miles, no modifications. I jumped in today for a drive, my first since Saturday. After it warmed up a little I hit the gas and had a major bog, it sped up then bogged for a half second then full throttle again. I had no CEL, and it did not repeat this again. I have never had this happen before. I have the original opti, plugs and wires. No codes. Anyone have an idea what may have caused this? Thanks!

Just a guess fuel related. Low fuel level or fuel quality. A single event it tough to figure. If you're using K&N type air filter oil on maf ?

I have an L98, but when my tank is below 1/3, it will bog if I jump on the gas, especially if I'm turning. The fuel sloshes around alot, I guess. I am thinking about a new fuel pump/sock to see if that changes anything.

Yeah, I'm with 383. It sounds like your engine thinks it is still cold so the Air/fuel ratio is "off" for a WOT run. In the old carburetor days, a cold engine would do that when the choke would not full open.

Now, having said that, put check your fuel pressure to eliminate any doubts. Tif good, either let your engine warm or your coolant temperature sensor may be starting to show its age.
