I have a 93 Vert with the high beams stuck on. When I pull lever there is no click. I have read in the SM about adjusting the switch. Is there enough room to access switch by just dropping column in car? SM says to remove. Thanks! Kevin
Was just under there on my 92 last week. You definitely do not need to remove the column.
Pull the hush panel, then the metal panel behind it.
Depending on how flexible you are you may be able to adjust it then.
I drop the column down for ease of access, it's only two bolts.
There is a nut at the firewall end and a screw (hex head) at the steering wheel end. They hold the ignition switch as well. I loosen the nut then barely loosen the screw. Enough to let it move but still keep tension.
Note the ground wire on the nut.
