Default Fuzzy Dash, cant read center section

I had it apart and cleaned it 5 years ago, all was good
Last year the fuel gauge started to get FUZZY at 0-1/2 tank level, now it seams to be spreading, would cleaning it again help or are parts inside going bad ?
Thanks

Also I remember watching a good vid on how to do it,
if someone has a link could they post it
thanks

The plastic polarizing film goes bad from sun exposure ... you can either buy new and do it yourself ... not trivial or pay Bryan at batee.com to redo it. Likely there is other things wrong with your unit being so old like bulbs getting old and power supply going bad. I changed the film and the bulbs on mine about 2 years ago ... a delicate operation. Good luck

Seconded, sounds like the film is worn out. I keep a sweatshirt over the dash when the car is sitting to keep the sun off of it. UV de-laminates the film.
