Default HVAC controller will not go below 75

89 Vert, electronic climate control.
I had to remove the blend door actuator and now the HVAC display will not go lower than 75. I tried the reset procedure and I can raise the temp to 90, but then I cannot lower it again. The blend door is fully closed (cold air) @ 75 and swings to fully open (hot air) @ 90. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The usual response that I've seen is that the controls need cleaning. There are old threads which describe in detail the cleaning procedure. I have personally gotten away with spraying QD electronic cleaner into the controls from around the edges of the control buttons. My car was doing same thing - you could increase but not lower temp settings. Also, on mine, only the AUTO setting would work. All works fine now. Had to do it a couple times. I sprayed around all the HVAC control buttons.
