Default MAF sensor screens
I red somewhere that removing both screens on the MAF sensor would increase the horsepower and help the engine run better. Any ideas if this is true?

It does make it flow a little more CFM. Some folks have done these "freebies" and gotten some gains in track testing.

If you are looking for real power gains then save your money for more serious modifications.
