Random Tech
I placed my order for an Random Tech CAT today....just awhile ago....
For '84 vette....how hard for me to install???? Or should I go to A muffler shop??????
What do you think?????

I believe your '84 has a 4-bolt cat, bolts front & rear so should be easier than the later with a slip-fit up front.
You may also want to replace the hanger near the cat as the bolts could be rusted.
Also you will need some tubing to attach the AIR hose to the new cat; and likely have to cut that tube off the OEM cat.

Make sure to soak any/all bolts with wd-40 (or some other good penetrating oil) 6-12 hrs prior to trying diassembly. Otherwise you'll risk snapping them off. I'd replace any studs/bolts etc. Otherwise the install should be a direct replacement of your factory cat.
