Default Wet Door Panels??????????

I have an 89 L98 Black Corvette and every time it rains regardless of if I get caught driving in the rain or if the car is parked in the driveway the lower portion of the door panel as well as the part of the carpet that it closes against become completely soaked. Is this common for my year or is there a particular seal I should look into changing to correct the problem???
Thanks in advance to all replies........

My 86 was leaking from the roof panel and dripping on seat and carpet. I removed the top, cleaned the weatherstripping and put a thin layer of dielectric grease on the weatherstripping to help seal. Hasn't leaks since. Hope this helps.

run a piece of tape down your winshield from top to bottom against the trim then hose it down and see if your leak stops if so its the windshield trim seal.

Also check the weep holes in the bottom of the doors to make sure they are not clogged up.
