Default power antenna

I turned off my radio on my 95 and the antenna stopped short about 3 inches from completely retracting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Raise the antenna and clean ALL the mast sections then wipe it with some very light oil. Make sure the botton mast section is not slighty bent. Every car I've owned with a power antenna gets the antenna washed every time I wash the car.

Buy a new antenna. I tried to cheap out and fix mine with a new mast and just had frustration after frustration - and I'm usually really good with stuff like this! After benching it for the 3rd time I gave up and bought a new one. Works perfectly. What's wrong is that the plastic gear-toothed cable is broken. Getting the unit in and out is a treat you'll never forget - take the left rear wheel house out. Also, don't forget to reattach the braided ground wires, they actually are important for the antenna to work properly.
