1989 TPI stalls while cruising
Im working on a 1989 TPI MAF corvette and first thing in the morning it starts up shakes and dies the first time. then starts and runs fine. Through out the day it will stall randomly while driving. Stall as in SHUT OFF not sputter and quit. anyone have any dealings with this? is there a way to check the MAF sensor?

So I would suggest checking the TPS, its pretty easy to do, and I can write up a guide if you would like.

Could be your "ignition control module" going bad.. If the car just shuts off like you turned off the key with no spitting or sputtering, but will start right back up again... Then it could be the ICM...WW
