1989 a/c control issue
My '89 has the C68 auto temp. control. The part that shows the temp. setting/outside temp. comes on and during driving it goes off. Everything
works just can't tell what the setting are. Anyone know of a fix before I send it off?

Sounds like a bad connection, either in the module, between the connector and the module, or somewhere in the wiring to the module.

You might try pulling the control module and cleaning the PCB contact fingers with an erasure.
Bit of a pita since you need loosen and pull back the console panel to access the two lower bolts but then the unit just pulls out so for an easy disconnect/reconnect.
If this doesn't do the trick it may be time for a rebuilt control unit, though there is a U-tube site vid on servicing the main PCB.
