Start problem...please help
When I shut off engine after driving, the starter won't kick in to restart engine. I can jump it and it will start. Battery is good. After it cools, it will start. Ignition just clicks when trying to start it. Help please.

Have you had the battery load tested? They can show good with a volt meter but not hold the Amps needed to start the car.

It can be the starter or the battery cables at the battery are loose or dirty/corroded as mentioned....or both.
You did not give your year model and if you have aftermarket headers on it or any other information that can help.
Because HEAT seems to be a factor.
