I went to Pep Boys to get tires balanced and front end alignment
After putting the car up on the rack they told me rack & pinion needed to be re build and left rear wheel bearing was bad, took it else ware and they also said R & P was bad
Original reason I went in there was car pulls to the right and vibrates at about 45-55 MPH It didn't do all that 2 months ago
So would the Rack & Pinion cause this ?
Thanks
Maybe if tie rods are worn out - shaking internal leakage - pulling. The inner and out tie rods can be service separately. Internal leakage do you feel the steering wheel trying to turn or do you have to rotate to stay in lane? Do you have to add power steering fluid? If you're not adding fluid and fighting steering wheel to keep it from turning basic rack is probably ok. Worn tire rods like bearings will allow tire to shake or shimmy.
IDK i would have second opinion of tires and alignment. Worn tie rods and bearings would be something alignment person would want to replace prior to aligning car.
