I hate to bust into your post, but I was hoping you could/would help me. I suspect I am having an ecm failure. Do you know anybody that would let me use their 92-93 ecm to test my theory? I live somewhat in your area and that is why I am asking you. I would buy one, but there are none available anywhere! I wouldn't mind checkin out your car sometime either. Catch ya on the flip side....

baxters auto parts offeres exchange on the ECM, i have a spare 90-91 ecm but i don't think it's the same as the 92-93. really really double check to make sure your prom is seated. let me guess, sometimes you get a SES light, the car runs like hell and your speedo dies & goes to 0mph. fans come on and you can't get code readings? if this sounds like the problem you may have a faulty connection at the prom. mine does this off and on thanks to a piggy back ed wright sent that just SUCKS. the program is good but it just won't ever seat right. i plan on having him transfer the information to my stock prom soon.

GTS, I checked with Baxter and everybody else. Nobody can get one. They all pretty much say that they can send it away to have it rebuilt. My problem consists of a lean fuel condition. I burn my own proms and have had several in and out. I also have two different piggy back thinga majiggers.

Anti venom - drop me an email at s.katyal@attbi.com or call me at 503-439-0240. Maybe the two of us can get a better idea of what is going on with your setup. In the mean time, see if you can get spare ecm off of ebay or something.

my god...it just hit me, aqua, do you have headers on that car yet? that's where your HP is. you have a boatload of airflow bottled up with a factory manifold. it really would not suprise me if you gained 40-50hp from some longtube 1-3/4" headers.
