1990 Vette Possible Short
After cruising awhile and turning off engine for a week or more, my
digital ambiant outside temp flashes - - - instead of temperature. It will still start when this happens but a fan comes on and blows warm air into cabin and cannot turn off or use any of controls such as heater, fan, AC, or defrost. Then another day everything works fine. This last time after parking car with everything off and key out, something came on and ran the 1 yr old battery completely down. I mean completely, no cabin lights or under hood, horn, etc. I was fortunate to purchase a Schumacher charger and got it charged up and started and driven today. I believe it is a short but no guesses where. Any advice or suggestions please? Thank you.
