Default Intermittent problem help

Purchased a 1988 Corvette 35th anniversary edition with 35,000 original miles.Got the problem solved with battery drain, the only other problen i've been having is,sometimes after i drive the car for a while and shut it off, 10 to 15 min. later, if i go to start it all the indicator lights come on but no crank at all. Battery checked with my meter 12 volts. I wait 10 minutes or so later, starts like nothing ever happened.People say it might be a bad neutral switch, bad ignition module, bad coil bad starter, today someone told me it could even be a bad key resistor.Any feed back would be appreciated.Thank You,Ernie

For no crank I would be checking the ignition switch, VAT, starter solenoid / starter.

For cranking and no start checking for no spark would lead me to Coil, Ignition modules or Electronic Spark Control unit.

With 35,000 miles alot of those ignition parts including spark plug wires can be replaced.

Have you tried another key during the no-start period?

You might wiggle the shifter to see if any change.

Measure the key chip resistance before a normal start and after a no-start.

Hook up an idiot light to the "S" wire and ground the other end. Crank and see if you get a light. If you have a light, starter issue (battery cable, ground or starter itself)
