TB spacer
Any truth to the gains advertised for the TB spacer (power tower spacer)? I called Mid America and the tech person said that the advertised claims are true (this same person told me actual HP gains for some of their other products which were less than the manufacturers' claims - so he was somewhat truthful on other items).

Huge waste of money, take your catalog and rip out any pages that show a HP gain from anything they sell besides exhaust. Because nothing in there but exhaust will give you a HP gain.
If you think 1" spacer plate will give you 20hp, do you think 5" will give 100hp, nope. A spacer will work a little on carbed cars, but not EFI.

First let me say I agree that there worthless. BUT I would like to see a before / after dyno graph. Because i said dont buy but two different friends bought them for 2 different efi trucks a 98 Tahoe and a 99 Dodge ram both said they think it runs better. I think it just makes more noise but i would tend to belive these guys. There are ones that are machined in a spiral pattern that is supposed to swirl the fuel-air but on our cars its just air and it has to still travel a long was to the chambers so mabe there only good on some applications. Im not wasting the money till i see a car go faster with one. :cheers:
