Oil temp 320 degrees!
Fired up my ‘86 Vette today and noticed my Oil temp was at 320 degrees, Obviously a bad oil temp switch or faulty wire.
Is the Temp switch easy to replace and where exactly is it located?
Thanks for any help

it was an eye opener for sure. Lol!
I just had my dash rebuilt so nothing worked for years, I noticed after I plugged in the new one this problem as well as my Speedometer not working (just a zero reading).
I assume my VSS is the culprit, that should be fun to change...NOT!
