Alu Head - Head Gasket Longevity
My 1990 L98 head gaskets expired at about 145000 miles. When I pulled the heads, the left rear cylinder section of gasket was literally in pieces. I'm looking at another 1990 with 137000 miles on the odometer. What have other aluminum head corvette owners found to be the life span of their head gaskets?

If the car is properly cared for, there is no number on them, they can last well beyond the main bearings.
