Default Quick radiator flush question

After studying up on flushing the C4 cooling system (pulling the knock sensors, etc.) there is some inconsistencies regarding the use of radiator flush/cleaner like Prestone Superflush. Is it safe to use in my early, iron head '86 Corvette or not? Thanks.

Absolutely. Feel good about using the cleaner. The flush will be in the system for only a brief amount of time and a final rinse of water will remove any residuals that you may worry about.

I just used the prestone flush in my 96. Drained everything(including pulling the knock sensors) then refilled with 4 gallons of distilled and the bottle of prestone superflush. Ran it to temp then let the car sit all day, ran it to temp again, let the car sit all night, the drained it all(petcock and knock sensors again) the next morning, then filled with my fresh coolant mix. Car was on jack stands so I couldnt drive it otherwise I would have driven it a day or 3.
