Turn Signal Help-
Picked up a '92 LT1 in need of almost unlimited TLC. After about 9 months of poking at it, (I actually bought a LIFT to work on the thing) I backed it out of the shop thinking I had finally reached the point where I could register the car with DMV and head to the inspection station. Running thru a checklist, was surprised (well, not really) to find the right hand
turn signal wasn't working. The two rear lights go on and stay on, and wrong filament in the front right-hand bulb turns on and doesn't blink. Then I noticed a couple of the LEDs in the right hand headlight (the previous owner had installed LED headlights but they seem to work correctly after replacing the gears in each side) faintly light up, so unfortunately it's not a bulb or flasher issue. Any ideas or pointers would be much appreciated!!
thanks in advance!

they do NOT come on when the right-hand turn sig is activated. A grounding issue? Sorry about that-

bulb . Because it was cracked, it had been pushed into the recess of the socket. losing contact with the bulb body. Luckily NAPA has them in stock. SOrry for the bother!
WELCOME TO THE CORVETTE FORUM!!
It is a common issue with older Corvettes and their light sockets. I have changed a few over the years, frequently I find corrosion on either the bulb or the socket. Using the eraser on a standard pencil works great cleaning up dirty contacts. Cracked bodies and missing springs are a whole nother problem.
You came, you asked, you answered.... Wow! We out here appreciate you taking the time to share it with us! This is how owning a Corvette gets a bit easier, having friends out there who can pitch in and offer help. What a world!
Good Luck and keep that Corvette of yours on the roads where Corvettes "Belong"!
thanks & have a great one!!
