C4 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
Default C1 on a C4 chassis

Has any ever tried to put C1 body panels on a C4 chassis. I found a company that has a one piece front end and one piece rear. I know the wheelbases are different, but will the panels fit over the frame? The rear of the C4 chassis is not flat so the suspension can hook up, will this interfere with the body going over It? How about the front? The wheel opening to the cowl? to the bumper? Anyone try to do this? I'm looking for the pitfalls.
Thanks

I have seen tubular frames made custom for C1's that use the suspension and drive-line parts from C4's. I have never see any kind of kit that allows you to put the older body on a newer frame for a Corvette.
You might have to swap your frame out to be able to make the body work for you.
Has it been done? Could it be done? With enough $, anything CAN be done.
The body on the C4 may be dated but is still beautiful in my opinion. Good luck and keep us posted!
