Purchased a set of Hooker headers 2151HKR and also pypes full dual SCC40R but they clearly do not fit together as is. Does anyone know which adapter is needed in order to make these two parts attach? I have an 87 and looking to replace the entire system from manifold back.

Often when combining non stock headers with a different non stock exhaust some cutting and welding is required. It actually mentions this on their web site: Due to variations in different manufacturers headers, modifications to the length and or angles of the intermediate pipes may be required when connecting to the header collectors.
I have the same headers and they came with a hooker supplied y pipe that tied to my stock exhaust. I changed the mufflers to turbo muffers with a by pass. It all fit perfect no additional mods were needed.

this is false, hooker headers do not come with an included Y pipe they come with the set of headers bolts and all gaskets. you will need collector reducers, IE: the op's question oof part he needed.
they may have come with a Y pipe years ago and there is a Y pipe available for an extra cost that you can buy... but to clear things up for anyone in the future.. as of 1-9-2020 it does NOT come included with headers
