Rough Idle 94 LT-1
I have a 1994 LT-1 that after about 3-5 minutes of running time starts to idle rough at 550-600 Rpm. I am wondering what to do to try to correct the problem?

If high mileage, you should clean the throttle body and especially the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve on it.
Clean the MAF as well. Be very careful not to damage the small wires, a new MAF is something like $250.
A new air filter might be in order as well.
New plugs and wires might be in order.
In other words a general tune-up.
BTW: Check your water pump weep hole for coolant leaks. Wait till the engine is cool then slide your hand under the pump back towards the block. If you have green stuff (along with all the black stuff) on your fingers then maybe its time for a new optispark (last resort). It would definitely be time for a new water pump.
