Hello CF

When did Chevrolet change the threshold of the C4 Corvettes?
I can't get into a 1988, but with a bit of contorting, I can get into my 1996, and once I'm inside, it's very comfortable.
I know they changed the back of the Corvette where the tail lights are from concave to convex in 1991, is that the same time they changed the threshold?
Thank you

Yes, they definitely changed the threshold / sill height.
Would like to determine when exactly that change occurred.
Thank you

I've never seen any mention of a change to the physical sill height. The interior and specifically the seats underwent a significant change in 1994. The 94 - 96 sport seats had much different "seat-cushion" bolsters making it much easier to slide on & off (in & out) when entering or exiting the car.

No they didn't. Other than the trim/carpet that they used, nothing changed.

I believe there were changes to the dash also that made entry/exit a bit easier on the later models.
