Default Time for a new engine

So I think it's that time. 6 psi of oil pressure at idle kind of sucks, and I don't feel like burning up what is otherwise a good running engine.
So I took a look at my parts stock to see what I have...cc502 cam, 2 bolt LT1 383, a fresh set of pocket ported heads, a new meziere pump, some comp 1.6 roller rockers...I actually have everything to build a mild daily 383, minus exhaust and a TC.
I also happen to have an LT pattern Accel TPI intake base and some AS&M runners, though I feel they might not look right in a 95.
So what is the going thing for a set of headers and a TC nowadays for the LT1 crowd? The opti on it is one of the last new GM units before they disappeared, I'm thinking of pulling it out and using a 24x torqhead setup as well.
The Vette needs some help getting it right so it's time to pull it out of storage and get to work!

I'm thinking of selling of alot of my misc TPI tidbits...
I think the LT1 intake would be fine here. I'd fire up the TIG and weld up this one and port it like the last one I did.
Im on the fence about the transmission. I tend to prefer manuals, so I'm kind of tempted to swap over from the automatic because this car really isn't rare...but at the same time, it would probably be cheaper to start with a manual car if I wanted to do all that.

I just picked up a new second design set of pistons for my 383...which is actually a zz383 rotating assembly installed in an LTx block. It'll be coming apart and heading back to the machine shop this week.

I ordered up a 2.2L oil pump drive adapter, since it's similar to the LTx, to see if it can be made to work in place of the OEM adapter.

I have a set of 99893 crane springs on the shelf, but I don't think the heads need that much spring for a cc502...I'm thinking the comp 987 should be fine for that without the extra open pressure. I don't think a cam that mild in a 383 with a stainless 1.94 valve needs over 400# open pressure.

I have an older EFI connection dual row reluctor ring that I'm considering using for this, because I'm concerned about the clearance at the front of the engine with the torqhead setup. I think using their ecm and harness would be the way to go though.

What's considered "good" for hot idle oil pressure on these engines? I've read that they run on the low side at idle
