Default Sway bar issue front 1985

Can anyone check this out and tell me what I am missing or why they are different?
Thx
Upon further investigation I found the part loose but I think it is time for a bushing.

You probably don't need new bushings. Loosen the mounting bolts for the bushing bracket and work the bushing back into the centered position in the sway bar. I had the same problem.

Out of curiosity, I went down and looked at my 85 after seeing this. It is centered on both sides. Could be bent? But I don't think it's serious.

Probably don't need to do anything to it if you don't want to. The bushing is only a couple inches long and it can't be that big a deal.

I guess if it bothers you, you could center it across both bushings, but I don't think it's a big enough deal for you to notice anything different when driving it. I guess if it REALLY bothered you, you could take it off, tweak it out 3/4 of an inch or so, so it sat centered.

Which I would probably do because little crap like that bugs me and also because the world is a better place when things are symmetrical!

I was able to recenter it and driving is normal I will check it in a few days. I was able to center it as it was movable when I thought it would be very firm.

Orlly?

Yeah, I would think it should be also. I can just about bet you can't budge mine with a hammer.

I wonder if someone replaced it at some point, and the bushings are undersized and letting it drift?
