I wanted to get some new cats but wanted some recommendations. The only ones I know of are listed on Eckler's for a 92. Do any other types exist? I'd like to replace them bigtime cause it would boost performance (granted I have enough back pressure) and would get rid of my rattling (had to drill the screws in the driver side cat and rig something up to the exhaust :smash: ).
Re: Thinking about getting some new cats (Lord Odin)
For your mods, there's no HP to be had with aftermarket cats. If you're just looking to replace a bad cat, you might try Vette2Vette, they have lots of low mileage parts for cheap. Not sure where Manhatten is, but Vette2Vette is about a 1/2 hour SW of Joliet.

From what I have been able to gather, the Random Tech's are smaller and are very well made. The Car Sounds are much cheaper flow as well or better but are larger. On manual car like mine, either will fit. On an auto, you really need them to be as small as possible.

Right now I'm just freeing up the car for later mods. Once the engine starts getting some big HP, I don't wanna have it choked up on the exhaust. You're right that I won't see any improvements with better cats but I probably will down the road.
By the sounds of it, V2V is pretty close to me. Manhattan is like 20-30 min SE of Joliet. My friend orders stuff from there quite a bit. I'm in Phoenix at the moment, though, so it won't do me any good.
