If its all stock then I believe autos came with 36 while the manual trans had the 44.

*** If the SPID is still attached to the console lid rely upon the RPO codes.
OP - where are you located? I've '93 front suspension both sides complete removed from a 30K mike 'theft-recovery' many years ago. I've also a set of control arms from a different C4
The other way to tell a Dana 44 (except for a few modified Dana 36's, is that the bearing block tops are machined flat. A Dana 44 diff cover (batwing) has blocks integral to the casting that presses up against these blocks. A modified Dana 33 will have blocks welded into the batwing and the tops of the blocks machined off. You can see the imprint of the cover blocks in the sealant on the bearing blocks in the pic above.
An acquaintance that races actually had a bearing block break in half at the thinnest spot, but the D44 cover held it in place and the rear did not grenade.
The easiest way for me to identify a 44 from a 36, especially when under the car, is the 44s have a cup on the side axle shaft yokes. The 36s just have the axle shaft going into a flat seat. Here's a pic of a 44. You can't see the seal as the cup is covering it.

Tahnks, I will take a look. The Only thing I could see is the sticker it says 3.07.
