Default Radiator Question

I am doing some cooling system work on my neighbors 1989 Hardtop. I purchased new water pump and radiator. My question is, what is the name of the plastic piece that plugs into the top right of the radiator and plugs into the green wire of the fan? It does not even show it on the GM Parts catalogs. It did not come with the new radiator, and the old one is cracked and corroded. Thanks!

Sounds like your coolant level sensor. Good luck with the install.

AND Welcome to the Corvette Forum!!

It is people like Bill who answered your question for you quickly and most likely correctly that make this forum the great place it is!

Ecklers Corvettes sell the part # 25-108936-1 for $26. Check the picture on the Ecklers website to be sure it looks the same. This is what they have listed as a Low Coolant Level Sensor for 86-89 Corvette years!

Good Luck and I hope that your install is a success! A "Cooler" Corvette is a "Happy" Corvette!
