Default 1986 Corvette Radiator Problem

I know I'm probably going to get hollered at but I can take it. We've been updating my 1986 for some time by the most efficient means. Anyway we replaced the radiator with a "Speed Daddy", 3 core, Al one. It fits with minor modifications. The transmission line attachments on the new radiator are the problem. The transmission cooler line fittings on the new radiator are metric while the lines to the transmission are standard American. I think the fittings on the radiator are 12 mm, fine, female, while the trannie lines are 7/16-20, male. Has anyone else ran across this problem and how did you solve it? I know I can weld al barbs on the new radiator but that sounds excessive. Any help would be appreciated. I know...I know....speed daddy!

How 'bout some adapters? i worked at Autozone a bunch of years ago, but only for a few months before my spine gave out. I could swear they had adapters for such situations. A Tranny Shop or Radiator Shop should have them. I installed a 3 core aluminum radiator a couple of years ago in my '85. I believe it came with adapters of some sort. Napa might have them. You get the drift I hope. You can't be the first with such a situation. Adapt and improvise. The very nature of hot rodding.
