This is turning into a nightmare. Everything was fine until last week when I thought I had 2 clogged injectors. Replaced all 8 and still had problems with 1 and 6 cylinders not firing. Rechecked everything and found out that those injectors are not getting signal to fire. I was told that all 4 injectors on each side should spray fuel at the same time. I have a friend trying to locate the exact problem, but I'm wondering if I could be missing something simple. My ECM checks out okay also. I could use lots of imput from you guys. Thanks.
Scorp, I saw your reply in general and I still have the L98 motor, I just rebuilt it 2 mos ago.
I was over at a friend's house earlier and he has my ECM out and looking at the 8000 wires underneath the dash. Man, I hope this gets fixed soon or I'm going to need someone to come and give me a ride in their vette. I'm tired of driving a Chevy 1500 truck.
Since this involves electricity, I shouldn't be doing this.
OK, for cylinder 1 and 6, is there voltage at the injector harness with key on engine off? Please check and advise. Understand one on each bank is not firing?
