87 5.7tpi cranks but wont start
I bought this car and have driven it twice, now it will crank but it will not start.
It has 45psi on the fuel for the initial 2 seconds and when cranking.
It has a spark pulse to the number 1 cylinder
any suggestions

borrow a noid light from the local parts store or just buy a set.
1. check that those injectors are firing.
2. if they are, id be inclined to check the quality and timing of spark next meaning strength of coil and ignition control module. i had an 85 that would set off the timing light but somehow the coil was weak and it just wouldnt put out enough spark to ignite.

Agreed. Wouldn't that give you a blue flame if the spark quality is good? Also, if there is a way to get a charger on the thing, I'd charge, test a cylinder, rinse and repeat to make sure all cylinders are good. Definitely want a rock on the gas pedal to make it go into "clear flood mode".

Thank You. I will never claim to know it all, sometimes advice or a direction is nice to have
This is my first Corvette - it is off to a great start. I have had and still have 3 - 3rd gen Firebirds (2 are TPI's)
This gives me something to do during the week
Wish I could say this is the only thing that went wrong with my vehicles this week, but...……
Today gotta go work on the V-10 in the Dodge truck.
I will keep you posted on results
