I just changed my O2 sensor on my wifes 1990 Coupe. It has 64,000 miles on it.
I did it in 10 minutes. Drove the front up on the Rhino Ramps and slipped righ under there.
The factory Bosch replacement cost me $18 at Autozone.
I noticed before I had crappy gas mileage ( 18mpg on a 500 mile trip..)
Even instant reading were only 18 to 21...
After the install I immediately noticed a smoother idle and not quite as smelly. I put my nose right in the exhaust stream and it just smelled like hot air.. :D
I have no long term fuel mileage number to post yet but...The intantaneous showed 28-32mpg at 55mph...
:smash: :smash: :smash: :smash:
Can someone post instructions on how to do this on an '87? I have the same problem.. There should be a place somewhere on the net with all this info...
