Default Look what I found

While I’m waiting for new blender motor to show up, I decided to clean the whole interior. When I ripped the glove box behind the passenger seat where spare tire took is hidden, I found this

i thoughtnit was pretty neat

Cool, all I have found is an old pen and a little change.

Cool. The most important option on that list was the $50.00 option for the "performance" 3.07 rear gear ratio.
On an A4 LT1 it turns the SOTP performance (IMHO) from a V6 to a V8.

I knew I had performance gear ratio since it says "G44", which I know its PRO code for performance ratio. Just wasn't sure what the ratio was.

Why would they call a 3.07 "performance"? That's a highway gear! 3.73 or 4,10 now that's performance. Well, for hole shots anyway.

There is a big difference in gearing between automatic and manual transmissions. Nice find OP.

3.07:1 is whole hell of a lot more performance then standard 2.59:1...

I think manual car's standard rear end ratio is like 3.30:1 or something like that?
But final gear ratio of 6th gear is 0.49:1, where as 4th gear on automatic car is 0.70:1, so numerical difference between two isn't as bad as you think(I presume? I could be wrong)
