I’ve been searching for a while now with no luck. Can someone tell me what Module A is (comes on after 9)? I am getting C61, C62, H61, and H62 within that module. When I A.7 them they always come back before I start the car.
I don't believe so - do you get the 7 flash sequence @ Key on? Do you have the owners manual? The DERM is constantly monitored so I doubt it's that odd of an experience.
Following up on this. I have the 61 and 62 codes in Module A, and my airbag light does not go through the flash sequence when I turn the key on. It lights up with everything else then goes out. Both fuses labeled airbag are good. I have a flashing SYS light on the dash. It flashes a few times every 15-20 seconds or so. Would the SYS light be caused by the airbag codes?
Other notes - this car sat for almost two years without being driven. Supposedly it was started occasionally and left to idle for a while. Car does not appear to have any other mechanical/electrical issues.
Below are the four applicable pages from the service manual to your codes. I don't see any indication that this would set your SYS indicator off, but I guess that doesn't mean it won't. A really common issue that causes that is a missing or replaced stereo head unit. But that's for another thread. Go through these diagnostic procedures and see what you can find. This is a taste of why you should get the full Factory Service Manual!
Matthew, thank you very much. You’ve come through again for me. I’ll spend some time studying these pages and see if I can get anywhere. I’ve purchased a paper manual but it hasn’t shipped yet. Thanks again.
