Is D44 the only choice? For what power level is that sufficient? What do guys with d44's upgrade to?

I may be hard to believe, but the Ford 9" is the diff. of choice. Of course you loose the IRS, but that's all part of making the rear end so much stronger!

..... I've been pounding the D44/IRS with approx. 600hp for a while … the worst I've done is break a few U-joint caps … presently running a custom spool …..
