erratic oil pressure gauge
Oil pressure readings random readings sometimes OK. Replaced both oil pressure switches and no better results. Ran a manual gauge connected for a week and confirmed oil pressure is OK.

The OP has mentioned this a 'few' times - a couple occasions in 2014 - I mentioned in one of those threads that since he hadn't mentioned year I assumed that his gauge would likely have been a 'bell shaped" affair. I don't believe I've ever seen the OP mention year specific but through '88 it would have been a 'bell shaped' single wire sender.
In 2014 he mentioned doing a 'mechanical' also.
