When u cut ignition spark is gone...When the car is completely cold there are no hotspots yet..Somewhere something is keeping spark to combustion chamber..Only thing left for that are plugs..Do you agree? I checked power in wire to distributor and it drops right to zero via voltmeter on shutoff..Is there anyway that a plug could b so carboned up that it may cause this..

Possible it could be "that cabon'ed up"....but not likely unless it'a major oil burner. But even if the plug were massively carbon'ed up, it wouldn't be hot enough during cold idle to cause dieseling.

It's a Crossfire; it's would just dump the fuel onto the manifold lid.

I rebuilt both throttle bodies over the summer..New fuel pressure regulator installed..Replaced ecery single sensor..the car runs and idles like a top..no hesitations misses or stumbles..Only thing besides this problem is needs to have accelerator pressed when starting and cold idle starts out around 1200 - 1300 rpms when cold out..Seems to idle at higher rpm the colder ambient outside temperature is..Idle drops as it should as car warms..by the time its hits 170-180 degrees its at 700 rpms and 600 in gear.. (7R20)..And car does not burn oil..80,000 miles on motor..Vavle seals do leak a bit but nothing crazy..
