Granatelli MAF

When I bought my CE LT4, it had a procharger on it and came with some extra parts. One of them is a Granatelli MAF, anyone using one of these? It's free, just requires my time to install. My question is why? They claim a HP increase and performance improvements over 2000RPMs. My Prochrager is a pull thru MAF system and the car is running a custom tune.

Is it worth installing? Will it screw anything up? Will it actually help?

The Granatelli MAF is a bigger housing to hold the stock MAF parts. They also usually remove the air straightening screen. You'd need to retune your car to use it.
