Help!! Please....

My vette stalls out....if you wait for awhile it will start....but if i unhook battery to reset the car starts right up...note: when the car dies there is no stuttering it just stop running....1988 vette....

Help!! Please....

Fuel pressure is fine....
again heres my problem:
The car runs then dies...it will turn over but not start...it sits awhile then starts..but if i take the battery off then immediately hook it back up it starts right away...ive taken it to 2 shops and since the service life is not on they cant run a test....help!!!

That's definitely not a VATS problem and you say you have fuel pressure so you need to find out if you have spark when you are cranking and it not starting. Pull a sparkplug and ground the treads on the block insulating yourself and have someone crank it. If no spark then you've narrowed down your issue a lot.
