Default Change Oil Light is on.....

.....so, since it was time I had the oil changed. But the light is still on. Is there a reset switch or something similar that I need to push?

Thanks in advance.

From my 96 LT1 Owner's Manual:

1. Turn the ke to RUN, but dont start the engine.

2. Press the ENG MET on the trip monitor. THen, within five seconds, press it again.

3. WIthing 5 seconds, pres and hold the GUAGES on the trip monitor. The CHANGE OIL light should flash.

4. Hold the GUAGES button until the CHANGE OIL light stops flashing and goes out. The should take about 10 seconds.
