Is flowtek a decent product? i found some of the flowtek heads from a vendor site i buy from at work, part number 1200-HRSB-505A .
it looks like i could get a set of those for around 700 complete assembled heads, that's not a bad price, just wondering of quality and long term. if anyone has used the brand before let me know how they worked out for ya please

I have never heard of this company, they are sold on Summit, but no reviews. Im guessing they are a Chinese knockoff of trick-flow or something. I bet they are not bad at all, a nice upgrade to stock/mild motor, but I wouldn't trust the springs/hardware on anything big (unless you have good proof of what hardware they are using).
Seems like a good price to me.
Had a set of Flowtek heads...chinese blanks finished in the US....pretty good quality I believe Car Craft had an 8 set head 'shoot out' and Flowtek did well and was named 'best buy'

BTDT with TFS. It wasn't a Chinese knock off but a few weeks after I installed the heads, they sent a set of guideplates because they had QC issues. Fast Forward to a few years later, the entire 8 valves on one side were wobbling. Apparently the valves were loose in valve stem guides. So short term, they were great. Cheap and saved money. Long term, trashed 1 LPE motor when the spring broke from the wobbling and the piston kissed the valve. I think that was the last time I could afford a cheap product. Save a few hundred bucks today, spent a few thousands down the road.
