Hi all:
Got a little chilly here a few days ago and I had trouble starting the car. Thought it was the battery. Replaced the battery and what I'm doing is almost like pumping the clutch to get the car to start. She started right up this morning before the battery change. I know there is some kind of a switch near the clutch or sensor if it is going will the car do this ? or once it goes it is gone.

It sounds like the safety start switch behind the clutch. It may be getting wore out and not pushing in all the way or something or the wires running to it may have started breaking. I would check that first.
Thanks guys I appreciate it. That's what a buddy said who does most of the work on the car I should say all of the work on the car. First vette was a 78 and all I had to worry about was the hedlights not going up. This one is way more complicated.
I'll check Ecklers for the cost and get one ordered.
Thanks again. I appreciate it. I hear the car starting now. The real Mr. Bob is outside working on it. I'll get him away from the car and back in the house.
I just like to get in it start her up and fly !
Again thanks for the advice. Have a great day !
