Default Camber-brace and Cross-bar GP!!!!

I've had a couple of emails this week-end inquiring about if there will be anymore GP's on the Camber-brace since it came out in MAD's C4 book and the answer is "yes".

If there is any interest other than the 2 members that emailed me let me know. Drop me an email or post it here. We'll decide on what we can do after I see what kind of responce there is.

I have been trying to get to "Cross-frame" ready for introduction, so I have been backing off on the specials the past few weeks.

Later,
Dave :seeya

Can you give us more information about the cross-frame? What does it do? How easy is it to install? How much will it be?

Is this similiar to the stock X-frame on convertibles?

I promise, it won't be to much longer on the "Cross-frame". I just wanted to be sure that it was right before putting it on the market. It's hard to give a lot of details without pictures of the product. It does criss-cross the frame like the convertible x-frame, mounting at the same location on the front as the convertible, with different mounting in the rear. It is made from 1x3 inch retangular thin wall tubing and does not require anchoring to the floor pan. The initial run will be for stock type exhaust systems, with units for headers to follow.

I've had some issues come up to delay it's introduction, but should have something for the Forum in the next couple of weeks.

I'm interested. Of course I'm also interested in the cross-frame. How did the testing go on the cross-frame Dave? How much does it tighten up the car?

So, do you have a ballpark price on the cross-frame? I'm shooting for the trifecta! :D

If i have money left over after moving this month...Im in. (camber brace)

I know....that's almost as solid as "kinda pregnant"....

Speaking of the Cross Bar....I should have bought one of Dave's instead of the one I got (Hard-Bar). Where mine is currently located, Id crack my skull clean open if someone rear-ended me on that thing. Dave, you dont have a trade-in program on these things do ya? You know...where I turn in a competitors product for a discount on yours... :D

I may be interested if the price is right- I would go for a Camber brace, cross bar, and the one for the inside(forgot name). The targa stiffener is just too pricey- but I would love one!!

Gp details:

Camber-brace = $156.25 with free shipping to the lower 48.

Cross-bar = $260.00 with free shipping to the lower 48

Buy both and get a free R-D Racing t-shirt(while supply last)

I'll get with Bigtoe to set-up the Mall or you can also call to place your order.

Thanks,
Dave Cooper

What about a price on the Targa-truss? Also, I seem to remember their being an issue with electric waterpumps and the camber-brace, is this correct? I don't have an electric waterpump, but I was seriously thinking about putting one in this winter and I'd need to decide if it won't work with the camber-brace.

As of right now, I do not have a unit that works with an electric pump installed. I do plan on developing one, but I have to install an electric pump on my 96 first. It will probally be sometime this winter.

Give me a call on the targa-truss.

I have the cross-bar and Camer brace, they are great. I too am interested in the Cross-frame. What was the ride like after the install, was it on a stock C4? 1x3 is nice and big, but how much does it weigh? We need pics! :yesnod:

Dave any idea how long this group purchase is going to go on for? There was nothing said in either this post or on the mall....is it just for november?

I have been very interested but it just seems like everytime a GP opens up....iam without money....right now.....figures....putting an engine in my other car....but hopefully in the next couple of weeks...I will have enough to buy....
