I would highly recommend spending the 53 bucks for a new pan with drain plug and get a LubeLocker pan gasket to go with it, you won't be sorry. No more driveway spillage or weeping gasket drips.

all the pans are the same, from china, just make sure to get the low profile one, 2.75" deep i believe with 3/4" drain plug.

This reminds me on my 89 many years ago when I had a leak from the transmission filler tube grommet. That thing was such a huge pain to replace. It took days of struggle for something so simple. I went through like two grommets before getting the 3rd one to work. The first two ended up tearing trying to get it installed.
