I am looking to possibly increase the performance of my stock 1986 manual corvette. I was thinking of putting in an air intake and throttle body, or just one of those or none of those and wanted to get some opinions. Thanks

TB offers 0 gain along with an air filter.
Every change I did to an 89 I once owned eihter got run on the track or dynoed no gain at all with those 2. TB bypass same thing
Those upgrades will not benefit you. In my experience on my 86 was long tube headers with a free flow exhaust. Also, a gear change was the most beneficial. Those two upgrades I felt the most change in the car. I installed a 3.54 rear but; a 3.73 would of been better. I know each one is pretty expensive but worth it.
