Clutch Problem
A friend of mine has a '92 C4 and he is having problems with his clutch. When he pushes the clutch in it makes a high pitch whine, it only does this when the car is cold once it warms up it doesn't make the noise anymore.
He just replaced the pressure plate, fly wheel, disc and throwout bearing 5k miles ago.
Any ideas on what it is?

It sounds like the throwout bearing is shot :confused: It's possible that is wasn't seated correctly or just a bad one out of the box.

these parts can make a minor noise for their life spans. my brother had an old chevy pickup... and that damned clutch did nothing but scream for the 8 years he had that poor thing....
