On what side is the filler plug on a 1993 6 speed trans needs to be refilled?

Bottom drivers side, two quarts, fill plug opposite side

Take out filler plug before removing drain plug.

Fill plug is on the passenger side. The plugs have a torque spec of 26 lb-ft. This is important because they are tapered plugs and can crack the case if severely over-tightened.

You will need a 17mm Allen hex if you don’t already have one. It will come out easier if the transmission is hot.
