Customers car, now been down for another 2 weeks waiting for an oil temp sensor. We had one ordered through Corvette America and they kept pushing back the delivery date and finally said they dont know. Tried from several other places that listed as available and then got an email later saying not available. What options do I have here? Is there a vendor I can call and verify that has it. So far I have struck out everywhere. Thanks
Nick

I know it is NOT your first choice but would you be comfortable with used, When my normal Corvette Parts specialty Store can't get I go here. http://mirrockcorvette.com/ give them a call.
This sender/sensor provides readings for both analog and digital.
How did you determine the oil temp sender was faulty? Is the sender/sensor located on the oil filter housing?
The analog sender/sensor moves only about ⅛" under normal operation.

If possible (I know you are working in a very difficult location) verify that the oil is passing by the sender/sensor threads, and not through
a crack in the filter housing.
It is not screwed into the filter housing. It screws directly into the engine block.
I looked at the ECM wiring and it appears the ECM wants to see the signal from the temp switch and would set DTC but maybe actually only create issues with the 'OIL LIFE' calculations controlled by the CCM. I don't know that the DTC 52 or DTC 62 would set the CEL.
I'm quite sure that since you're 'on line' you likely caught the post I deleted with reference to the later.
On eBay there's been some options for the GM 10096136 but who knows what a person might end up with. IT's also not inexpensive.
POST #2 or decisions!! Single terminal for analog and maybe a resistor for oil life!! A plug and a resistor for OIL LIFE?
Yeah, saw the really marked up ones on ebay. Besides the 2+ week ride from china, quality is questionable but I am not sure what other options we have at this time.
